I have written a fairly heavy macro that processes text files.

You could do this: ' turn off updates ' Organise data in ram so that it fits the range for which it is meant Dim two_d_arr (rows, cols) load Data From Source two_d_arr Dim destination Range as Range destination Range = Sheets(some Sheet). number of cells updated), and how many sheets are there, how many sheets/cells refer to sheet your code is updating and how many formulas are present in the whole workbook. Screen Updating = False '-----------------------My code Application. Just make sure you reset Screen Updating to true when you're finished running the macro.

Each time you change some thing in the sheet, Excel re-calculates all formulas.

The Automatic macro changes the date then calls the Color Fill macro to change the colors in the thematic map.

The Color Fill macro is what is executed with one date to fill the data.

Screen Updating = False Sheets("Analise de clientes em rota"). Sub Caixa() Dim myvalue As Variant myvalue = Input Box("Please enter the number") Sheets("Wait").

I just want, when a processing something, to the user see a blank sheet and after, show the result. But in my case, when i use screenupdating, i want that the macro goes to a black sheet (for exemple), and do the stuff and after finished goes back to the start, like this one.

Happy Holidays: A few years ago, I created some thematic maps out of WMF files in Excel. Now, I've switched to Excel 2013 and I've hit a problem. As a side note, Date Change moves dates from a populated list to the map in question. Screen Updating = False For i = 3 To 3111 Range("Act Reg").

These maps were designed to cycle through economic data date by date and change colors as the data changed. I noticed that the view size would change during the execution of the macro, so I added the Application. I would like to resume being able to see the color codes of all data in the series, so I can shoot videos for an economic series.
